Original Medicare
Original Medicare is the federal health insurance program, also known as traditional Medicare, that covers hospital and medical costs for people age 65 and older, and some younger people with disabilities or certain medical conditions. It consists of Parts A (hospital insurance) and B (medical insurance).
Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage, also known as Part C, offers Medicare coverage through private insurance companies, bundling Part A, Part B, and often Part D benefits into one plan, and may include extra benefits like dental, vision, and hearing coverage that Original Medicare doesn’t cover.
TLC Insurance
TLC offers most Medicare Advantage carriers in specific Indiana counties. Medicare Advantage Plans are offered by private insurance companies and are alternatives to Original Medicare.
